I
had two root canals and thought I'd write about it. In the end, I feel relief. I had been
scared of ever having this procedure done because of the stories of pain. It just wasn't
as bad as everyone led me to believe.
I'm
44 and and started feeling pain in one of my molars. The dentist immediately said I had a
severe cavity under my filling, and suggested a root canal. The horror I felt was
terrible. He explained it isn't so bad, and I explained that I don't believe him. It
turned out that the infection affected two teeth, so I wound up having both done. I was
sore for about two days, but it wasn't too bad as long as I ate soft foods.
Two
weeks later I had the two crowns put on, and had not a problem since.
